Biography

Travel photography started as a second career for me over thirty-
five years ago. I’ve combined my wanderlust and curiosity of travel with this wonderful venue to document the places I visit, the people I meet and new, varied cultures that I experience around the world.

Any special artistic influences?

Nature, historical sites (particularly archaeological locations) and worldwide cultures have influenced my drive to capture the essence of these phenomena.

What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?

While well known, the best advice I was given was to follow the “rule of thirds” where ever possible.

If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?

I’d be bored! For me, photography is challenging, interesting, rewarding and provides a piece of mind at the many places of solitude that I have the opportunity to visit. A total delight.
