Stock Photo - A pregnant woman cooks sadza on an outdoor fire at the Howard Hospital Antenatal Ward (also known as the Women´s Shelter) in Zimbabwe. The pregnant women are admitted to the shelter at 37 weeks and stay for free. But it is not easy ride: they have to bring there own bedding, sleeping mats, forage for firewood, cook for themselves and find a way back home. Also, no visitors. And, they sleep on concrete floors.
