Stock Photo - Marana, Arizona - Volunteers from St. Christpher Catholic Parish distribute produce provided by the Borderlands Food Bank. The food bank rescues 30 to 40 million pounds of produce each year that would otherwise go to landfills. The produce is perfectly edible, but slightly blemished. People visiting St. Christopher's and dozens of other locations in southern Arizona each month can select 60 pounds of produce for a donation of $10.
