Stock Photo - Herrenchiemsee Palace, located on an island in lake Chiemsee, upper bavaria. The water games and the fama fountain in the french garden with the western facade called Gartenfassade. Herrenchiemsee Palace was commisioned in 1878 by the bavarian fairy tale king Ludwig the second (Ludwig II) as his third and his final palace after Neuschwanstein Palace and Linderhof Palace, but it never was finished.
