Sharon McDonnell MD MPH

about me My mother, Gay Bumgarner, was one of the few early women in the field of wildlife photography. My daughter also has the eye and a fire in her being for the best shot. Hence, "Mother-Daughter Press". I write about the subjects of the photos on our website & blog (www.Gaybumgarner.com). I am also a physician and scientist. I investigate how social-cultural forces influence health and vitality in individuals and communities; including the effects of visual images on physiology and healing.
