Besides portraits in many variations, I produce editorial, documentary and other work for companies, government institutions and non-profit organizations. These images are often direct, sometimes confronting and seldom stylized. My work shows my view to the world, the story is the result of my search for that one moment. That single piece of time, in which all is said.
Any special artistic influences?
A huge influence to me, is Robert Doisneau, for being patiently and consistently waiting for that one image which tells the story. Searching for that the perfect shot in time.
What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?
Try to give every image a meaning. Have it tell a tale about a person or situation.
If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?
I would be a writing journalist, using another tool to get stories out into this world!
