I enjoy the outdoors, and this is reflected in my photography. My photographic interests are landscapes and nature, or anything to do with the outdoors. My simple aim with photography is to inspire; so if it's a landscape i'm capturing, I want to inspire the viewer to consider visiting that location. I try to use colour to maximise this effect.
Do I always achieve my aim? I am probably my own worst critic, nevertheless, it is for the viewer to decide.
Any special artistic influences?
Mostly the landscape and nature around me. I do take some inspiration from other Age photographers though!!
What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?
One good image is better than 10 mediocre images. Good advice but hard to follow!!
If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?
I'm not a full time photographer, and don't get out as often as I'd like to capture images. But I make the most of whatever time I do get.
