Biography

I am an avid gardener and love exploring my world in detail. I am constantly amazed by the colors and textures of every day life. I am also the Mother of a small boy and get to enjoy his fresh perspective on everything.
I had my first real taste of photography in College and have taken millions of photos since then. There is nothing quite like sharing the way you see things or expressing a perfect moment.

Any special artistic influences?

I have an Art Minor and a Degree in Communications. I love the way a picture can tell a story and am drawn to color and shape.

What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?

Take lots and lots of pictures. It's amazing the new perspectives and feelings you can evoke if you try new things.

If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?

I think I would enjoy landscaping because then I could build the beauty I want people to see. I get a taste of that when I start my own plants from seed and plan my gardens but I would love to get my hands on a Bobcat and really change the shape of the land.
