Stock Photo - Gentoo penguin (Pygoscelis papua) adults and chicks in their breeding and nesting colonies in and around the Antarctic Peninsula. Gentoo penguins are increasing in number in the Antarctic Peninsula, at the cost of Adelie penguins. Global warming is forcing the more ice dependant Adelies off traditional nesting grounds and the Gentoos are filling that vacancy.
