This locomotive was named Bl³cher after the Prussian General Gebhard Leberecht von Bl³cher, whose speedy assistance helped defeat Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo. Part of a series of experimental designs, the Bl³cher locomotive was the first to incorperate flanged wheels, helping to keep it on the tracks.
