The Victoria Falls are the broad waterfalls of the Zambezi at the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The falls were discovered by Scottish missionary David Livingstone, who named them in honour of Britain's Queen Victoria. The Victoria Falls have been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1989.
