Stock Photo - 07 November 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Klein Chüden: Craftsmen recover the Jahrsauer bell from the bell tower of the village church with a forklift truck. The bell belonged to the church of the neighbouring village of Jahrsau, which was desettled from 1952 to 1961 and completely dismantled from 1970 to 1971. After the demolition of the church the bell was brought to Klein Chüden where it became a memorial to the division of Germany as a church bell. The village church is currently being demolished and is to be rebuilt in the Diesdorf open-air museum. Then the Jahrsauer bell shall ring there again.
