Stock Photo - 08 April 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Koserow: A mobile crane is used to erect the new pier on the beach of the island of Usedom. The pier is supposed to rise about 280 metres into the sea, but look completely different from other piers on the Baltic Sea and be barrier-free. According to the plans, the special features are, in addition to a wave-like appearance in plan view, an almost square bridgehead with a bell tower. The new construction is to cost 7.4 million euros.
