Stock Photo - 18 May 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Brockengipfel: A train of the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB) is parked in Brocken station. With the curfews and restrictions to contain the corona virus, known as ""lockdown"", the HSB largely suspended operations in mid-March. Since the weekend, the locomotives have been heated up again. In the morning, the first train left Wernigerode station with the destination Brockenbahnhof. The timetable is still restricted, however. From Wernigerode there are only two trains a day to the summit of the Brocken and from Drei-Annen-Hohne four trains. Selketalbahn and Harzquerbahn only run once a day.
