Stock Photo - 28 July 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: A small lynx from the Carpathian Mountains can be found in the lynx enclosure of Magdeburg Zoo. The predator was born in the zoo on 27 May 2020. Midsummer is the ideal time to observe young animals at the zoo. On the one hand, the animals born in spring are now lively and curious about their environment, on the other hand, mother animals have now relaxed and no longer hide their young from visitors. The lynx can be found in the logo of Magdeburg Zoo, as it was one of the first animals shown here. The zoo opened its doors for the first time on July 2, 1950. Lynxes have been there since 1954.
