Thousands of labourers are passing busy times at the processing zones to produce dried fishes which have remarkable demand among the people of Bangladesh and the foreigners. Dried fishes produced here are being exported to other countries, thus increasing the revenue of the government. One kilogram of Chhuri dried fish is selling at Tk 900 to Tk 1,200, Rupchanda at Tk 1000 to 2,000.
