Child labor is very common in almost every industry of Bangladesh such as Aluminum factory, Balloon factory, ship building industry. The main reason is poverty and lowest rate of wage. There is no statistics available to determine exact ratio of adults and children working in such factories; but it seems around 30% workers are children. The reason of high child labor ratio is cheap labor. According to child labor law of Bangladesh it is prohibited in serious working condition but there is no implication. The current economic condition of Bangladesh is unable to solve child labor problem. It's not possible to banned child labor completely at any time. The thing is these children's families are in need. They don't have any other options other than work for money and help their family. If government really going to banned child labor in the country, the situation would be worse than this. Their living of standards even go down more. So before banning child labor, government needs to develop economic condition of their family first. Child labor refers to the employment of children in any work that deprives children of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular school, and that is mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and harmful. This practice is considered exploitative by many international organizations. Legislation across the world prohibit child labor.  These laws do not consider all work by children as child labor.
