Large groups of people dressed up traditional clothes carry Mikoshi (sacred portable shrines) between the streets near to Sensoji Temple to bring blessing and fortune to the inhabitants of the neighboring community at Asakusa during the second and third day of the festival. The annual festival attracts millions of visitors every year.
