Stock Photo - The Museo del Prado in Madrid, maybe the best collection of European art in the world from the 12th century to the early 19th century, was built by Juan de Villanueva in 1785 as a Natural History Cabinet, being part of the program led by the king Carlos III to convert Madrid in a true capital; his grandson Fernando VII refounded it in 1819 to house the current museum of art.
