Stock Photo - A 200+ degree panorama of the arch of the winter Milky Way, from south (left) to northwest (ar right) with the Zodiacal Light to the west at centre. This was from Dinosaur Provincial Park in southern Alberta on February 28, 2017. A spell of warm weather left very little snow, so the landscape does not look like winter here. But the sky is! . . This is a stitch of 6 segments but warped with fish-eye projection so that only 3 or 4 segments are contributing to this image. Stitched with PTGui. Each segment was 30 seconds at f/2. 8 with the Rokinon 12mm lens and Nikon D750 at ISO 6400. Nik Dfine and Topaz noise reduction applied, in addition to ACR.
