Stock Photo - 1982 - American TV brings Dickens back to life in the London he loved: Dickens (played in his prime by Sir Michael Redgrave and in his youth by Robin Ellis (25) now appearing in 'the Rivals', Haymarket Theatred meets a young girl of today Juliet Mills. As in all true fantasties they get talking and the famous writer shows her the landmarks of such novels as 'Oliver Twist', he takes her back in time. This is the theme of a one-hour colour television film made for American ABC network to be shown in the USA in December of this year. The film is directed by actor Berry Morse (of Fugitive fame) and is produced by Danny Wilson. Pictures show a scene at 'Nanoy's Steps' (of Oliver Twist setting) on the Southside of London Bridge.
