Davids who is a professor of genetics at Leeds University, has egg-cup of every shape, design and material wood, copper, stainless steel, China., He started collecting about 10 years ago as a way of filling empty shelves in his home. Since then he's become quite an 'egg-pert' on the especially British habit of eating eggs out of cups. It's a habit which he believes may date back 200 years in this but didn't really catch on in other European Countess Until after the second World War, David's Collection's from the over the World as still growing although he finds that the unusual types now change hand for several pounds or more.
