V-Bomber station at Waddington, Lines. A demonstration was given there today. The apparatus, devised by General Engineering Flight at Waddington, is a 30 ft. long 12,00 gallon tank mounted on a 50 ton crash recovery trailer. In 17 minutes it can coat a runway with a thick layer of foam for a distance of a 1,000 yards.
