Stock Photo - Oct. 10, 1965 - Boy's body found on Moor: A body, believed to be that of a boy, was found buried on a lonely Yorkshire moor yesterday. The body was discovered after two carloads of detectives went to a spot on the moor. They screened off an area of about 40 square yards and began digging. Two hours later, senior officers from Lancashire, Cheshire, the west Ridding and Manchester arrived. A makeshift canvas but was put up near the spot. Then, as dusk fell, two detectives carried a sack 200 yards to a police car. Six other detectives brought a a stretcher, wrapped in plastic sheeting, across the moor to a police van. A post mortem on the body will be held today. A senior police officer said last night.
