Lady Pamela Hicks, wife of interior decorator, David Hicks, today sold the famous Mountbatten emerald necklace which was left to her by her mother, Lady Mountbatten. It went up for auction at Sotheby's in London, and was bought by Mr. M.A. Seymour for 2,000. The necklace, which was made in Paris, consists of nine magnificent emeralds arranged as drops from a diamond collar. The three center emeralds loans weigh nearly 50 carats.
