Get someone to span you around at least one revolution a second. This is something like the experience the man in the picture is going through. Squadron Leader Ray hanna, leader of the Red Arrows, the R.A.F.'s aerobatic team, is rolling his Hawker Siddeley Gnat jet in a routine 'Twinkle'. To get his picture, the photographer sat in the front seat, normally occupied by the pilot. He said: 'As we climbed it seemed as though 10 men were pulling me back. 'As we came out of the twists. I felt sick and groggy, I suppose the pilot felt the same.' I talked about my feelings, but he didn't and just go ready when we landed to do the same thing again.' The Red Arrows team, of seven aircrafts, opera from R.A.F. Kamble, near Cirenchester. This year the team have given 48 displays, and have 25 more to do in the next two months in Britain and the Continent.
