Stock Photo - 01 June 2020, Brandenburg, Uebigau-Wahrenbrück: Vertical west wall with bolts of the Rothsteiner rock in a forest in the Brandenburg district of Elbe-Elster northeast of Bad Liebenwerda. The natural rock near the village of Rothstein consists of Grauwacke (sedimentary rock) and has been protected as an area natural monument since 1915. According to the Berlin-Brandenburg climbing and bouldering guide, 30 climbing routes of difficulty levels 1 to 8 (UIAA) lead to the summit of the approximately 15-metre-high rock, which are partially secured with bolts on vertical and overhanging walls.
