Even before the corona-induced lockdown in Thailand there were only a few tourists on site. The island belongs to the National Park Ao Phang-nga. The island and the offshore rock has become world-famous as James Bond Island and James Bond Rock. In 1974 Roger Moore landed as her majesty's secret agent in the film ""The Man with the Golden Colt"" in front of the impressive scenery of the island.
