Henry Vogel spent the first 16 hours of life of the goose-chicks with the now eight-month-old animals on a mattress in the stable. With this he has gained her confidence, eats out of his hand and follows him every step of the way. For the daily change for Margot and Erich he sits almost every day for several hours on the village square surrounded by motorways and planted with a lime tree.
