Stock Photo - 02 October 2021, Saxony, Leipzig: Fritz Hundt arranges colourful Easter eggs in ""his"" Hundtsche Park, which decorate a tree trunk together with pine cones all year round. Since 1981, the 80-year-old former math physics teacher and his wife Ingrid have turned an unkempt public lawn in front of their apartment block into a small green park the size of a soccer field. In what has since become known as ""Hundtscher Park"", a meeting place for many residents from the residential area and guests from Germany and abroad, they now tend around 100 trees and shrubs, and there are tables and chairs for relaxing or celebrating among flowers and wooden objects they have designed themselves or have received as gifts. A special highlight for the couple is Easter, before which they decorate their park with about 2,000 colorful Easter eggs to the delight of many visitors.
