Stock Photo - 03 December 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Merseburg: The Leipzig artist ANTOINETTE finishes her huge European artwork ""Altar of Europe"" in the Schlossgartensalon in a specially equipped open studio. She has created the 20-metre long and five-metre high work over the last three years in Prague, Vienna, Görlitz, Leipzig and now Merseburg with pencils and coloured pencils on paper. The artist, a master student of B. Heisig, has been dealing with the search for the identity of the continent of Europe in her works for thirty years. In thirteen parts, she processes the theme in a drawn fable world and puppet theatre. Photo: Waltraud Grubitzsch/dpa-Zentralbild/dpa. - Merseburg/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
