Stock Photo - 03 June 2020, Brandenburg, Groß Schönebeck: The Schorfheide hunting lodge. The castle was built around 1660 at the behest of the great Elector Friedrich Wilhelm. The two-storey square plaster building with a tent roof and a central roof tower was originally surrounded by a moat. In the first half of the 19th century the building was renovated. Today the house houses the Schorfheide Museum. The village, which was probably founded by the Ascanian princes around 1313, today has a population of about 2,500 inhabitants. On the outer façade as well as in the rooms such as the wedding room, prepared antlers and other hunting trophies are found in large numbers. In addition, the hunting lodge is used as a museum with the permanent exhibition ""Hunting and Power"". Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Groß Schönebeck/Brandenburg/Germany
