The cave is about 40 meters long and 20 meters wide. The golden statue shows a reclining Buddha (""Reclining Buddha""). It is said to be more than 200 years old and about 15 metres long. The cave belongs to a Buddhist temple complex in the Amphoe (district) Takua Thung in the province Phang Nga (Phangnga) in the northwest of South Thailand.
