Stock Photo - 05 December 2021, Saxony, Borsdorf: In the case of the carol singers who decorate the Pfaff families' front garden, 8-year-old Felix and his father Denny Pfaff (l) place the hat, which has been touched up with paint, on the figure. The singers, which are up to 1.20 metres tall, were made by the forester Manfred Pfaff over 10 years ago with a chainsaw from Weimut pine. They delight the people of the Saxon community of Wermsdorf and passing motorists every year until 6 January. The wooden carolers belong to about 50 hand-sawn figures, mushrooms, flower benches and seating arrangements that the hobby chainsaw artist has made.
