Halberstadt has preserved one of a handful of historic Jewish quarters. The redesigned Berend Lehmann Museum displays history and tradition there. Twenty years after its opening, the museum has been redesigned, expanded and renovated. Even though visitors are currently not allowed to come due to the pandemic, the official reopening is planned for May 16.
