Stock Photo - 07 January 2020, Brandenburg, Stegelitz: The fieldstone church is partially scaffolded. The medieval fieldstone building was erected in 1297. On the north side the former sacristy is preserved, which was later used as a crypt for the Suckow line of the von Arnim family. A first major reconstruction phase probably took place at the end of the 16th century with the installation of the vaults, others followed in the 18th century with the enlargement of the window openings and the restoration of the tower in 1740. The building is currently closed for construction purposes and may not be entered.
