Stock Photo - 11 August 2021, Brandenburg, Reitwein: Between the trees at the Reitweiner Sporn, a striking wooded ridge also called Reitweiner Nase, the church of Reitwein rises into the sky at the edge of the Oderbruch (aerial photo with a drone). Visible from afar is the neo-Gothic brick church by Friedrich August Stühler, a student of Karl Friedrich Schinkel, which was built from 1855 to 1858. The church was badly damaged during the Second World War. The steeple and the roof collapsed. It was not until 1997/98 that the tower was rebuilt. Currently, work is taking place to preserve the building. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Reitwein/Brandenburg/Germany
