Stock Photo - 15 April 2021, Brandenburg, Branitz: Employees of the Fürst-Pückler-Museum Park and Branitz Castle Foundation work on the steps of the historic land pyramid in Branitz Park in Cottbus (aerial photograph taken with a drone). The land pyramid in Branitz Park is currently holding back its historic earth steps on all four sides. With this challenging work, the park gardeners are creating a very special gift contribution to this year's 175th anniversary of the Branitz park landscape from their own resources. At the end of April 2021, the work consisting of earth modelling and laying of rolled turf is to be completely finished. The land pyramid as one of the landmarks of the Pyramid Plain was intended by Prince Pückler as a burial place for his divorced wife and partner Lucie.
