Stock Photo - 15 June 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Stralsund: View of the St. Nikolai church and the town hall (r) at the ""blue hour"". The partially gold-plated, approximately 80 kilogram jewellery discs were made around 1880 according to the late medieval model. It is assumed that the star discs symbolise the kingdom of heaven, which as a divine order stands above the earthly, human order - the town hall with its council. The town hall in the World Heritage city of Stralsund is one of the most important Hanseatic secular buildings in the Baltic Sea region.
