Stock Photo - 16 May 2019, Brandenburg, Chorin: The Chorin monastery is reflected in a puddle. The last part of the permanent exhibition will be open to visitors from 18.05.2019. An animated film about the medieval monastery concludes the new permanent exhibition in Chorin. It illuminates the complex religious life of a Cistercian community and vividly conveys which rituals took place in which room in the monastery. Reproductions of medieval objects (tabula, bell and triangle) and historical clothing complete the picture of everyday religious life. Furthermore, the apps ""Speaking Stones - Inscriptions and Signs from the Brick Gothic"" and ""Chorin Monastery 3D - At the Time of the Cistercians"", a digital reconstruction of Chorin Monastery, will be presented. The former Cistercian monastery in the district of Barnim in the north-east of the state of Brandenburg is of national importance as a museum, church and cultural institution.
