Stock Photo - 17 October 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Halle: Rainer Robra (CDU), Minister of Culture of Saxony-Anhalt, presents a lost manuscript of the score by Georg Friedrich Händel. This is the score manuscript of the first performance of the oratorio ""Messiah"" outside Great Britain and Ireland. As the foundation announced on Thursday, there are 102 bound sheets with notes of the famous work, which was performed in Italian translation as ""Il Messia"" and in an arrangement between 1768 and 1772 in Florence. According to the Händel-Haus Foundation, it has one of the most comprehensive and important music collections in Handel's history. The newly acquired manuscript of the score is one of the most valuable objects in this collection. Photo: Jan Woitas/dpa-Zentralbild/dpa. - Halle/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
