Stock Photo - 19 March 2021, Saxony-Anhalt, Halberstadt: Textile restorers Andrea Knüpfer (l) and Andrea Knüpfer Christine Supianek-Chassay (r) push a processional flag from the 14th century into a display case. At its center is an embroidery of gold and purple cloth from Byzantium. The embroidery itself dates from the 12th century. The cathedral and cathedral treasury in Halberstadt are preparing for the planned reopening. Behind closed doors, repairs and cleaning work are being carried out for this purpose and the exhibition is being redesigned. If the pandemic situation permits, the cathedral treasury should reopen to visitors from 27 March 2021. Photo: Klaus-Dietmar Gabbert/dpa-Zenralbild/ZB. - Halberstadt/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
