Stock Photo - 19 May 2022, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Peenemünde: Time and again, Ulrich Stenberger from Raubling near Rosenheim has to wipe sanding dust off his canoe two-seater, which he built himself from wood, during the boat-building workshop in the small shipyard at the harbor. Ursula Latus' workshops last six or twelve days and have been offered since 2006. From Easter to October, the master boat builder accompanies those interested in working on their own boat. A first test trip with a canoe or kayak on the Peene River directly in front of the shipyard concludes the courses.
