Stock Photo - 20 January 2020, Thuringia, Gotha: Friederike Gräfin von Brühl, partner of the law firm K&L Gates LLP and attorney at the Schloss Friedenstein Foundation, sits on the podium at a press conference in the Ducal Museum. After the theft about 40 years ago, five top-class paintings are shown again in Gotha. The pictures were considered lost after the mysterious theft in 1979. In 2018 they were offered for sale through a lawyer of the Stiftung Schloss Friedenstein. In September 2019 the works were finally handed over. Now, after completion of investigations into their authenticity and condition, they can be seen for a week. Photo: Martin Schutt/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Gotha/Thuringia/Germany
