Stock Photo - 21 August 2018, Germany, Zeitz: A red leather chair stands in the courtyard of the castle museum. Under the title ""The Zekiwa Years"", the German Museum of Pushchairs is now showing an exhibition extension covering the period from 1950 to 1990. At that time, Zekiwa developed into the largest pram manufacturer in Europe. In the 1980s, about 2000 employees, mainly women, worked for the state-owned company (VEB). 368 634 prams for children, 163 191 sports prams and 305 997 dolls were sold all over the world every year. There is hardly a citizen of the former GDR who did not lie in a pram from Zeitz himself or pushed his children around in one. Photo: Jan Woitas/dpa-Zentralbild/dpa. - Zeitz/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
