Stock Photo - A reconstructed Fayence bowl from the first half of the 16th century is on display in the depot of the state museum for prehistory in Halle, Germany, 19 March 2015. Fragments of the historic artifact were found during excavation work in the town of Wittenberg. The state office for preservation of ancient monuments and archeology of Saxony-Anhalt, the foundation 'Schloss Friedensstein Gotha', the German Historical Museum in Berlin and the foundation 'Luthergedenkstaetten Sachsen-Anhalt' have joint their efforts to compile a comprehensive exhibition on German reformer Martin Luther, comprising of around 2000 exhibits, for an exhibition tour to the US. The travelling exhibition runs under the title 'Here I stand ... Martin Luther's home' and is going to showcase archeological findings, paintings, books, manuscripts and correspondences in New York, Minneapolis and Atlanta in 2016 and 2017.
