A German woman in San Francisco, Hannah Seyfert, has taken over a long-established grocery store, Lehr's German Specialties, from its 87-year-old previous owner, Brigitte Lehr. The elderly lady, who had run the store since 1974, had announced its closure in August - whereupon Seyfert, an occasional customer, unceremoniously made the decision to take over the business.
