Stock Photo - PRODUCTION - 23 August 2022, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Wismar: Behind a collection container labeled ""scrap"", the stern of the cruise ship ""Global Dream"" (also known as ""Global One"") under construction can be seen in the building dock of the otherwise empty shipbuilding hall of the former MV shipyard. The former MV shipyard, bought by submarine builder Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), is home to the ship for up to 10,000 passengers and crew, originally commissioned by the Genting Group. The insolvency administrator is now looking for an interested party for the 75 percent completed ship in the building dock.
