Stock Photo - Several thousand angry protestors surrounded Austin Police Headquarters and shut down Interstate Highway 35 on 05/30/2020.The protestors were enraged by the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week and Michael Ramos in Austin last month.The demonstrations were part of a national day of protest organized by Black Lives Matter and other activist organizations in reaction to the Floyd killing.The protests started at noon and related unrest continued until almost dawn on Sunday..
