Stock Photo - Skoda Auto, the largest Czech car producer, raised its after-tax profit by 34 percent to EUR1.274bn (Kc32.4bn) last year and its sales increased by 21 percent to a record-breaking EUR16.6bn (Kc421bn), chairman of Skoda Auto Bernhard Maier said at an annual press conference in Kosmonosy, Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, March 21, 2018. Car deliveries reached 1.2 million units, an annual hike of 6.6 percent. Last year's investments grew by 34 percent to EUR733m. By the end of 2020, the company wants to introduce 19 new models, with five of them being electric.
